One of the most important issues of our country in solid waste is uncontrolled waste storing, and therefore organised storing areas should be constructed. Once we have organised storing areas, many environmental threats such as air pollution, underground water pollution, soil pollution. Besides, European Union norms require several improvements in solid waste management as in all areas.

Establishment of organised storing areas is an urgent and important issue requiring taking action by the local authorities. Local authorities are responsible for the use of organised storing areas in lieu of uncontrolled storing areas in the EU adaptation process.
