Municipalities, which strive to develop and faces the economical handicaps, should stop dissipation of wastes to be able to benefit from natural resources in long-term and effectively, and researched methods of recycling and reuse of materials having economical value.

Although recycling practices saves lot in energy and resource utilisation, but may cause environmental pollution and wastage of resources if it is not well managed and organised.

Çevtem is one of the top organisations in its sector in picking up, decomposing and recycling of waste materials thanks to its experience and specialisation.

Çevtem has ensured decomposing and recycling of waste packaging materials picked up at the source in the decomposition facility operated by Çevtem in Yalova since 1995.

Çevtem, which has picking up and decomposing license for the waste packaging materials, is one of the offered firm to the district municipalities for the picking up at source and decomposing of the waste packaging materials in Istanbul by İSTAÇ (a company organised for the environmental protection and management of waste materials by Istanbul Municipality) within the frameworks of EU regulations.

Çevtem also offers project management, construction and commissioning of decomposing and recycling facilities in cooperation with the international organisations, universities and sector authorities.
